Grounded:

A garden that fits your real life

If you’re trying to grow but your garden still doesn’t spark the joy you imagined, or are you are ready to level up?
This four-week course is for you.

Wait-listers will receive early access, a founding-member bonus, and a chance to help shape the first 4-week round.

GROUNDED

I came to gardening for joy and sustainability; learning a few key things made it feel more grounded and abundant.

Joy

Every morning I head outside with my daughter to collect berries and fruit for her lunchbox.
I gather eggs and speak sweet-nothings to my chickens.

I make wax candles, gift honey and flowers to neighbours.
I forage in my wild spaces and notice what’s thriving.

Grounded is about helping you identify and design for the joy that genuinely fits.

Wellness

Wellness isn’t created by more information.
It’s created by clarity!

We may choose to grow food that is nutrient dense, or grown without chemicals — or we may opt for bringing outdoor beauty inside. Or creating a space to sit and be.

Grounded is about supporting your wellbeing through gardens that nourish your body and mind.

White Strawberries

White strawberries don’t belong in supermarkets.

They represent a different way of growing: selecting varieties and systems that reduce workload and increase output in a home space.

Grounded is about designing gardens that fit your land, your values, and your capacity — so growth feels sustainable, not demanding.

This Workshop Is For

Are you the ideal participant?

🌱 You’ve already grown something — and you’re ready for more than basics.
You’re ready to move beyond basics and into a way of gardening that actually fits your life.

🧭 You’re ready — and genuinely excited — to focus on your space for four weeks, with guidance and accountability built in.
This is about momentum and direction. You know that you will get from this course what you put into it!

🌿 You’re craving a better way, not just a bigger one.
You care about joy, wellness, and sustainable living, and you’re drawn to systems that support your life — not busy gardening methods that demand more time and effort than you want to give.

🧠 You want clarity, not more information.
There is an information overload online, but you're looking for guidance and transformation.

🌱 You’re looking for Gardening 101 or a fast-start beginner course.
This isn’t designed for brand-new gardeners or people who want a simple checklist to follow for an annual-raised garden bed. I believe that leads to stress, pests and giving up.

The reality is you will be given check-lists and other great information and guidance, but your space is different from everyone else's.
Grounded is for those who’ve already started and are ready for a more thoughtful, integrated approach.

Grounded might not be for you if…

Want to get rid of garden hustle?

To feel like you have a plan that sparks joy
To get excited about your space again
To align gardening with your life, not the other way around

“I don’t actually want a bigger garden — I want a calmer one.”

I want to find a way to grow more output for less input. More time to enjoy than hustle.

“I’m not lazy — I’m selective.”

I want a garden that supports my energy, not competes with it. We all have other things going on in our lives, the last thing we want is a stressful garden competing for our time or making us feel guilty.

“I want a garden that supports my energy, not competes with it.”

The seasonal flow of a garden can match our lives. Not rule it.

Questions?

Grounded is a nurturing multi-day workshop. After every 1 hour session there is an optional time for a Q & A for up to an hour afterwards. You will be connected with a small group of 3 gardeners who share similar goals and who I believe have something to offer you, they will provide accountability, questions and who knows... friendship!?

By the end of this course you will have; qualitative data on your land, quantitative data on what you want including a list and plan of plants to put into the ground and at what times. You will have a calendar of what to do when, with what fits in with your life's requirements. More information will come out before you commit to the course.

Start dates will be shared with waitlist members first, this course can be done at any time during the year. Summer, Autumn, Spring or Winter. Each season brings unique thoughts and state of mind of course, but we will be looking holistically at our space over years

No commitment at this stage, just early info and access to a small bonus offer.

The time investment for each week will be one hour together with one hour for Q & A afterward. I would suggest putting aside a minimum of an extra 1 hour for the goals you'll make during this time. Some people will spend more time than this because they're passionate, they want to see results and as you know... gardening is so rewarding it's addictive.

You are welcome to join. The nuance here is that most people on this course will have some indication of what properties their land has, what they do and don't want and a feel for what they can and cannot grow in their area, as well as some experience with systems. Ie they may already prefer drip irrigation over a laundry water system for irrigation etc. If you join, you will definitely get a lot out of the course, but I would recommend taking notes and putting extra time aside each week to look into any basics we've covered that you're not familiar with. For someone who is eager and has the time this course could work for a beginner. You may also need to leverage the Facebook group to ask questions.
